webOS OSE 2.13.0 Release

We’re pleased to announce the release of webOS Open Source Edition (OSE) 2.13.0.

Chromium Upgrade to v87

The web engine of webOS OSE has been upgraded from Chromium 84 to Chromium 87. This upgrade to a more up-to-date version includes major security and performance enhancements. Details of released features of each Chromium version are available on the Chrome Platform Status site.

Support for Ubuntu 20.04

webOS OSE has included Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) 64-bit version into its supported build systems. Ubuntu 20.04 is the latest LTS version of Ubuntu, an open source operating system on Linux.
